Tropical cyclone precipitation (TCP) is a key diagnostic in the context of atmospheric science, hazard, risk and flood research. This dataset provides estimates of TCP from global datasets. The various TCP metrics reported were estimated through the analysis of the global Multi-Source Weighted-Ensemble Precipitation (MSWEP) precipitation product and the International Best Track Archive for Climate Stewardship (IBTrACS) version 4.
