Surface motion data from 51 peatland sites in England, 2022-2025
This dataset comprises daily peat surface level, water table depth, soil temperature and relative humidity. These data were collected as part of the England Peat Map project to quantify peat surface motion across the range of peat habitats across England. Instruments were installed between April 2022 and September 2023. Data represent the mean of 2 hourly raw data presented as a daily average. The dataset contains data from 51 peatland sites across England, collected using fixed point photograph
